  • So...Where you you still think we need to strengthen?

Bearing in mind, Van Moen, Watson and Iversson are all allegedly en route to Rangers.

I'd say a bit of cover for LB, and securing Walker for the rest of the season would be sufficiant.

That said, I wouldn't mind a little, more mobile striker to come in, just because it would give us another dimension. Someone like Fryatt would be ideal, I would think?!

1st of all I would slap 4 million on the table expecting Harry to accept it. We would triple that value once we sold him.

Likewise I think we could do with a more mobile striker who is clinical.

I rate Fryatt and I believe he could be that man or simon Cox from west brom, who is young and knows where the goal is.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Plenty said the same about Derry and Hill. If the rumour is true, the I think I trust NW's judgement over any Rangers fan. Not a dig, just an honest opinion to counter claims that he's past it.

Whatever Neil Warnock says at half times it always works and if I could i'd bottle up his half time team talks and sell it for millions. Faurlin needed a talking 2 as he looked lost in the 1st half IMHO and Neil saw that because he was far better in the 2nd half and it helped us get on top of that midfield battle. I was fair less nervous in the 2nd half because that 1st half was far to open. Well done Derry a quality performance for the full 90mins so take a bow sir take a bow.

i asked some rangers fans if we went up.. what position would you sign for first. 5 different fans including myself said defence.. even with our record. i like gorkss and connolly but there is room for improvement there.

prolly get slated for this but connolly doesnt really assure me.

aside that id get a more mobile striker..
Soldier: "im on reconnaissance sir.. im looking for our camouflage expert.. have you seen him?"
                Lovejoy: "No?!"
Soldier: "GOD DAMNIT THAT GUYS GOOD!"

Difference is Derry and Hill are seasoned Championship players where as Iversson has been playing in a poor league. He's also 2-3 years older than Derry/Hill.

I'd be stunned if NW was interested in him.

I'm not saying he fills me with confidence, but there are a few who are adament that he's coming. If true, I'll keep the faith. He's still scoring a goal every two games, which isn't bad by any means.

He was linked to a number of English Championship clubs in the summer of 2008; including Crystal Palace, Norwich City and Ipswich Town.

thats nearly 3 years ago. I do think its a strange decision benny.

I hope he doesn't sign and we could do with pace we have a stefan in hulse and helgs

Iversen is still a good player. Similar to Helguson and would do a good job at this level for the remainder of the season.
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

I think thats the whole point I was making.

Lets have some variety and bring in a quality player like cox/fryatt that would offer something else instead of paying a 35 year old 1 last big pay day

Steffan Iversson...?? I agree, he must be sh!t, as I´ve never heard of him...
Steffen Iversen though, still is a very good player and will do well at championship level

I do think we could do with a bit of pace/sharpness up front against teams who play a high defensive line against us.

It's an option we are missing. But it's getyting the right player in.

Not someone who will demand to start every game, and sulk like a bitch if he is not. Like Roberts is doing at Blackburn.

I still think Aaron McClean at Posh is a good option for the 2nd half of this season... but if we went up, he's not a Premiership quality player.
Having said that... how many of our current players are?

And how many of Blackpools players were considered Prem players in august? But they're doing ok.

Questions, questions... nice problem to worry about though.
