  • Nervous ?????

Let’s be honest know people, is any 1 not nervous about tomorrow ?

I have been trying to concentrate at work but keep thinking 5 points clear or a point behind the druids.

And i know a point off the top is no major concern as i would have jumped at that at the start of the season but i can know smell the promised land and i think tomorrows win may give me a stronger sence of smell

I think most of us will be nervous tbh. probably more nervous than the Taffs as they are away from home and really nothing to lose.

I reckon that those nerves will transpire as loud and passoinate vocal support.

Seriously I am not nervous. There really is nothing to be nervous about. We are a bloody good side. They should be the one's nervous as we are the home side. If we continue to play how we have been playing we'll take 3 points tomorrow. Utaka is quicker and just as good running with the ball as Bellamy, albeit Bellamy is better in front of goal. From what I've seen of him he has just been an average Championship player given the hype he come with. Bothroyd is the one to keep quiet given his form. Take him out the game and they are average, you'll see that tomorrow. 24hours and 31mins to go!!!

Even if we don't win or draw I won't be disappointed. We will still be there or thereabouts come the end of the season and that is the most important thing to remember.

Im more nervous about the officials than the actual game; if things go against us, some on the team could lose their heads. Also Cardiff have yet to concededa pen this year..

And lets not forget their affiliation with The FAW

Agree with every word of that mate.

I am determined to just enjoy the fact that we are top of the league, we are unbeaten (for now!), QPR are finally giving me reason to be proud of them again.

I am going tomorrow with the sole intention of enjoying the f***ing game, enjoying the atmosphere, not worrying about what might happen if we lost/won/drew.
Let them worry that they might bottle it - again, let them worry that they are on our patch, and let them worry about living up to all the hype that THEY have created for themselves.... and the media have bought into.

It's just a game of football *in november*... we had a similar game at the same time of year against Plymouth in the year we went up from League Two. We won it 3-0 at Loftus Road, and looked to be running away with the league. Big "psychological advantage over Plymouth". Smashed them that day.

5 months later.... we lost 1-0 at Home Park and they won the title in front of us. We scraped up a fortnight later at Hillsborough. So tomorrow will prove nothing... either way.

Real Cardiff, Jay "Pele" Bothroyd and Bellaminho can do all the talking, worrying and nail-biting.
We've had dozens of bigger games over the years, at higher levels than this... I'm not so sure Cardiff City have over their long and glamorous history?

Yes, we're top and even if they were to win we'd be on their heels straight away. Whereas we get some clear water between us if we win. All the pressure is on them oddly enough - they're playing catch up. 3 generations of my rangers clan there tomorrow to see it, and whatever happens this is a good time to be Rangers.

Not even half way till the Jacks on Boxing day you know. I'll get nervous if we need to be Leeds in May.

I think i have got myself confused between being nervous or just over excited .

I am however nervous for my 6 year old (almost 7) as this will be his 60th game since the Fulham friendly a few years back and he still aint seen us lose and if we win tomorrow i am going to sell him to the club HA:laughter

Jesus - really! Can call a game better than the late Peter the Octopus if that's right. Don't sell him, take him to Ladbrokes on the way.

I think they'll have to score 3 to beat us tomorrow.
They have a good strike-force, so maybe they will, who knows??

                              Anyway.... f*** them.
They're nothing. Always have been.... always will be.
