The thing is who is responsible for the prices?

      The entire board?

      Flavio Briatore?

      Amit Bhattia?

Gianni Paladini..... even though I'll stick my head out and say that I think its nothing to do with GP.

Lets see what feedback we get from the club after April the 1st.

Well I was assured the other evening that ours views would once again be given to the board but who knows eh?

I am sure the club backed down about 3-4 years ago and extended the early bird deadline and if enough of us call their bluff then I am sure it will happen again.

I have a horrible feeling that MARTYHOOP is right and that FB in particular ( I wrote the same letter to him as went to Amit but naturally with no response) couldn't give a sh*t.He'll just replace us (or so he thinks) with a whole new breed of so called "supporters" and to hell with us!!!! The beginning of a new chapter in the history of QPRFC.Sorry to sound so melodramatic - but thats the way it seems to be going.

The strange thing is though is the fact that I can honestly say I hardly ever notice any of these supposed new fans they want to attend and in the main its the mugs like us who will kepp footing the bill.

The other day I was on top of bus, hearing 4 really posh knobs talking about football. They were talking about Arsenal.

I looked at them and felt, these are the kind of supporters who will be supporting our club in 4-5 years time.:very_sad::very_sad:
Personally, I don't have a problem with that. It depends what your definition of "posh knobs" is. IF, for example, posh is being able to string a coherent sentence together, then that is not posh. Just normal surely? Posh is a relative concept to your own viewpoint. All classes and creeds should be welcome at QPR.

As stated before the board will only react when they are hit in the pocket ...whilst people still renew (as 10k did this summer) they will keep doing it! ...I can't afford to renew and to be honest wouldn't have been able to afford it even if there was a slight drop in prices ...and will have to take my chances on a game to game basis ...I also had to move seat this summer as my 5 year old daughter was no longer welcome in the Upper Loft so had to move to the silver seats in G block to keep her ST.

Whilst his reply was very polite, sympathetic and understanding,he seems unbowed over the previous increases, possible further increases or the 17th April deadline. He claims he is going to discuss my concerns with the other board members, but has suggested meanwhile that I contact the Box Office to arrange for them to move me yet again to a cheaper area so that I can still afford to take my grandaughter next season. The price of my seat went up from £284 to £3,525 at the beginning of this season (a 1,250% increase) so I had to move to the Platinum area. Now he's suggesting I move again to afford to continue supporting my beloved QPR who are still playing Championship football and likely to be for some time to come.My grandaughter's seat by the way,has gone up from £70 to £449.Scant reward for years of loyal family support.
                      Amit,one of us?

                      Man of the people?

                      Is he bowllacks.

Just as bad as the others, judging by that.

Anyone who thinks this lot give a toss about the
                      fans is kidding themselves.

As for these fans meetings and the
we'll take your views on board"
rubbish just seems to be a going through
                      the motions exercise for them.

This lot will do want they want
regardless of how the fans feel.

Briatore's latest alledged outburst saying he won't be spending money and will walk away if he gets hassle from the fans, echoes what I said in my original posting and reaffirms the attitude of FB if not the entire board - wanting something for nothing.I'm starting to detest the guy.

i wished flav would walk away but who will buy the club? he will find that out soon enough.hopefully the mittals will put there money where there mouths are but flav will probably ask for a silly amount of money for his share of OUR club.
