  • I've received a personal letter from amit bhatia

....in response to my letter to him regarding ST prices.Whilst his letter was dated 10th March,it wasn't received until today the 24th.two weeks later. In my letter I had pointed out to him that I and my family have supported the club for 57 years and my father befor me, and that I had been moved from the seats I had cherished for over 40 years to make way for the now infamous W12 Club.I also objected to the increase on season ticket and match day prices this season and the 17th.April early bird deadline imposed to avoid possible further increases in next season prices.I also pointed out that we are paying extortionate Premiership prices for Championship football, and being expected to subsidise the club in advance of what may or may not be promotion over the next 3 years. Whilst his reply was very polite, sympathetic and understanding,he seems unbowed over the previous increases, possible further increases or the 17th April deadline. He claims he is going to discuss my concerns with the other board members, but has suggested meanwhile that I contact the Box Office to arrange for them to move me yet again to a cheaper area so that I can still afford to take my grandaughter next season. The price of my seat went up from £284 to £3,525 at the beginning of this season (a 1,250% increase) so I had to move to the Platinum area. Now he's suggesting I move again to afford to continue supporting my beloved QPR who are still playing Championship football and likely to be for some time to come.My grandaughter's seat by the way,has gone up from £70 to £449.Scant reward for years of loyal family support.

scant reward indeed mate but if the fans hold firm over renewals and prices the club will be forced to fold their hand and rethink their pricing structure, at the end of the day the club is nothing without the fans, a lesson hopefully the board will learn in the coming weeks

He will learn the hard way, when the season ticket sales drop drastically.
Loss of income is the only thing those people really understand and start reacting to.
Banning people is no longer my hobby,
but take a look at my photo blog:

How and why did I start supporting QPR in Estonia:

Amit might be a "Nice Guy" but he doesnt live in our World ( The Real World ).
As a cynical minded person I think its more of a good cop bad cop routine at QPR than any genuine kinship with the club / fans, could be wrong, but I doubt it, these are ruthless people who have little or no sympathy for working class people like the vast majority of QPR people.
And, especially in these times, Morality must come over loyalty, so if you cannot afford to go, or renew, then dont go / renew, you will hold the moral highground over the club on this issue, the question should be can you afford to renew from a moral standpoint as well as a financial standpoint, QPR supporters are not rich people, & these are difficult times, prices are unacceptable, simple as that, when something is unacceptable, people should refuse to accept it.

Judging by the response I wonder if you were right to call it a personal letter - it sounds very impersonal to me and indicative of the way we loyal fans are viewed and treated by our new owners.

To suggest moving seats (again) is nothing short of disgusting in my opinion.

(I just ran to check the post and the ****er hasnt replied to me as of yet.)

lol - I didnt bother turning up to court..and neither did they. I wonder if I had of done would they have defaulted and have to give me a free season ticket? god knows.

That letter puts a sour taste in my mouth, it really does. Loyal fans shouldnt be treated like this

Could you have convinced any sane Judge that the art work was worth the cost of a season ticket!? Hang on a minute a sane Judge, yeah right.
But on the serious topic, I think we are all agreed that there are some very unsavoury tales since these people came along. They simply don't understand the relationship between the Club and the fans.

                          His attitude stinks.

I want to buy a ST for next season, and can afford one, but tbh I can't stand their attitude towards usSo far I am resisting buying one and hoping that 1000s of other fans also refuse to buy one.

Perhaps if less than 500 renew by 17/4 they well start to rethink. Also, if less than 2,000buy a ST by the end of July, surely they will need to come up with a plan B.There is no way the club can survive on gates of less than 7,000 with this set of players earning the money they do.

                              think you are right.

The other day I was on top of bus, hearing 4 really posh knobs talking about football. They were talking about Arsenal.

I looked at them and felt, these are the kind of supporters who will be supporting our club in 4-5 years time.:very_sad::very_sad:
