eastnutta I think you know the answer to that question.

Can't really blame GP I think we were all happy he signed a big money contract at the time.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

The problem is only league 1 clubs want a player on 17k a week, so you have to accept that the players club will have to pay the majority of the wage.

Indeed. You can't lay any blame with Paladini for Leigertwood or Vine. Decent players needed at the time. Stupid signings were the length and cost of deals for Agyemang and Hall whose injury records and goalscoring records left a lot to be desired.

again i hope i havent got the wrong end of the stick but if a player is droping down a leauge why doesnt his wages

that way were not theroeticaly paying to much for them to be of use for someone else

i think the players mentioned were on good contracts at the time of singing not ideal but done a job and was worth it

              vine should drop his wages

It's easy to look back with hindsight and criticise Vine's contract. But most people were happy with him at the time.Unfortunately he failed to match his early promise.Personally i will be happy when he has gone because of his attitude.

Mackie has a 4 year contract and got off to a flier. He's gone of the boil a bit so let's hope we are not having this type of discussion in a year or two
