Before picking up his illness before Warnock came in - he had been our best player for about 6/7 games and showed there is still a player in there.
Gut feeling he will be loaned out, but finished? No way.
deffo. sad to say cos hes in my top ten all time r's. but hes gone, kaput.

Towards the end of last season he was our outstanding player. Typical performance was against Middlesborough away - he was the best player on the pitch that day.

If Cook can get some games under his belt for another club and play anywhere near the level we know he can then he would definately merit a starting place. A far better player than Hogan and would turn Hulse into a prolific goal scorer. If he can get goals out of blackstock then hulse would have a field day.I played sunday league football today.
Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

too old to come back from the injurys is what i base it on.
i must of been at different games to you at the end of last season, cos i just saw a shadow of what he once was, which upset me actually.
rowlands and cookie wont play for us again is my opinion and i said it at the start of the season, and the gang went mental at me calling me loads of names and bullying me and frightening me.
but looks like i was right tho eh.

Cook could be like having a new signing in Jan and I still feel theres a place in the squad for rolly.I played sunday league football today.

what you on about, i am wishing it, im praying for it.
he aint good enough for this qpr. nor is rowlands.
we are going to be in the premiership next season, and cook wasnt good enough for that place 5 plus years ago in his prime, so he deffo aint gonna be in 2011.
farewell and good luck lee and martin, and thanks for everything.

Cook should be in the prime of his career NOW. I take it you didn't go to the Borough game last season? That was one that really stuck in my mind.
I remember when we were in that dreadful run of results.. I kept writing in the reports that he was the sole bright spark that we had. Cook could well come back into this side IMO.
I think the bigger question/worry would be that Warnock doesn't seem to like playing with out and out wingers... Whether that means there is a place for Cook in the side (regardless of if he is in form or not) remains to be seen.

Wouldn't be surprised if he drops down into non league sooner rather than later.

Now the fact that he is requiring repeat clean ups is proof in itself that the knee cannot support the regular abuse players bodies at this level experience over a season......there's only one reason to be suffering scar tissue - and it's not good...
If he gets back to any level this will be his last chance you'd wager, and a further breakdown would see an end to his QPR career
