Land deals/Chelsea/BBC/Earls Court/Unigate/Groundsharing

There have been several rumours of land deals going through in and around W12, and suggestions of possible groundshare etc

a) Does anyone have anything concrete they can share?
or
b) Is anyone in a position to confirm something is going on, although they are currently not able to furnish us with the details?

Major concerns with the little elf being our major shareholder.

I think he would like some kind of worrying link with the sc um.

If we play at the same ground he can pretend he got the wrong dates because he's old when deep down he just wants to watch the chesc um.

In a world where we all like to moan about the cost of tickets etc, I think it makes total commercial sense for two clubs to share a NEW stadium. If that means sharing with Chelsea then so be it.

It is stupid to try and build a new stadium on our own, particularly if it has no other use other than for a football match every other week.

I must stress, i would not support a move to Stamford Bridge but open to the idea of a share of a brand new stadium.

We need to be a sustainable business. If we get into the Premiership, I hope that we can stay there for a long time. Get the books balanced and move forward.

having seen the new Brighton stadium on saturday night feel that would be perfect for us with its 22,500 capacity and an option to expand my only reservation about the new style stadia is that they seem quite souless - but that could be a result of people no longer sitting next to folk they've shared banter etc with for years - which is the problem that has beset LR of late

Why? They can't fill the current 42,000 and they are at the very peak of the popularity. Their fanbase will not grow any more than it is now.

I'm with conners on this re: groundshare - nettle has to be grasped in this country at some point.

I'd have no probs with a groundshare, fans can't have everything and its a sensible pooling of resources. Only stipulation for me would be that a new ground had stands close into the pitch so it retained the intimidating atmosphere of Loftus Rd and then wouldn't appear so soul-less.

While it would make some sense to groudshare; I'd hate it. Theres something special about owning your 'own' ground. I'd rather stay at LR than share a ground with Fulham or Chelsea
