From Givemefootball.com , reminds me why we all like him so much !

Things were looking bleak for him until Harry Redknapp arrived in 2008 to spearhead a Spurs revival. Rather than leave talent out in the cold, he farmed his excess players out to get them all match fit before the culling. Lucky for QPR, Adel was loaned out to them at the end of the 2008/9 season.

Taarabt made seven appearances in total, scoring one goal.

In 2009-10 he extended his loan period and came of age. Although scoring only seven goals in 41 appearances, he managed to capture the imagination of all Championship fans with his attitude and skill.

His quick pace, fast football brain and never-say-die spirit quickly made him a favourite at Loftus Road, and who could forget the wonder goal last October against Preston North End. Taking on three players, he ran about 20 yards and then curled an amazing shot into the goal.

A classic Taarabt goal (he doesn't score tap-ins), he became known for his long tricky free-kicks and his exquisite passing behind the defence for strikers. QPR seemed to let him blossom and evolve into a great player at a very young age.

In August 2010 Adel Taarabt signed a three-year contract, and his inspiring form led to boss Neil Warnock handing the talisman the captain's armband. His quality never in question, work ethic now seems to be one of his most endearing features and one of the reasons why he should be in major consideration to win this November award.

The calm penalty taken against Reading, or the brilliant double against Preston are additional factors to take into account when considering the Moroccan. Maybe the countless chances he has set up for his teammates should also count in his favour.

Lest we forget that he's in a team that hasn’t lost all season, and if you mark him out of a goalscoring position he will provide for his teammates instead. A class act who has been a class apart this month.
