On that site they are implying Jones will not offer a new contract to Chris Burke, he is a very handy player also, maybe we could step in.

Out of interest does anyone know who was manager when Routledge was sold?
      flavio briatore i think

going by what i read, 10 would of been the expected and 12 everyone would of been more than happy with.
well hes got 2 more to get all season to do what people wanted, and 4 to hit the pleasure principle.
he will one million per cent do the latter. (and hopefully lots more)
        Good post mate.

Too many people on here get 'spoilt kid' syndrome just because Mackie isn't scoring every week , we're not winning 5 nil every week and we're not 20 points clear at the top!!!!!

Seriously what would we all have settled for 18 games into the season ????

Some need to lighten up , get realistic , support the team , cut out the bratish behaviour and above all else ENJOY WHAT'S HAPPENING down in W12 !!!

Daft question really as he hasn't played in the last 3-4 games so obviously he has. Do you think he is permanently finished in the team? I don't.

I will put it another way if you could have only 1 of the 2 in the squad who would you have, Routledge or Ephraim.

              honest answer would be neither.
cos we are now too good for the pair of them.

Routledge would be in our starting eleven...no doubt about it

                      Fair enough.

Personally I think Routledge would work wonders in the team we now have & especially working under Warnock. Whether he would be wanted back or welcomed back is another thing altogether but as far as ability goes I think he would create a lot for us.

think he would get into the team in front of either of those two...
Just think what Warnock could get out of him that magilton only scratched the surface...

Routledge was an outstanding player for us . If you think otherwise then you are obviously a 10 year old girl who knows nothing about football.

Got to agree with youbeenrangered and GTP here.
Would have Mackie all day over Routledge. Mackie gives you commitment, courage, determination and has an eye for goal, all of which you dont get with WR.
Yes he had good games for us but time after time his final ball was poor, and he had that chip on the shoulder attitude that makes my teeth itch.

Obviously Routledge would go to Cardiff, they are a big spending club aren't they? Lol Dont have any debts (so they think) and can afford to pay part of his wages, maybe even sign him in Jan (dream on), he only has 2.5 years left on his prem contract and he can't have been paid that much (well not compared to Bellend anyway).
They are too big for themselves and I see another Pompey situation on the horizon, one poster even says 'why dont we get Adebayor' now I know he's not serious but I wouldn't be surprised if most fans think they can attract that type of player and the club even fooling them into being able to afford them.
