  • Taarabt vs bellamy

Surely all the papers and pundits will be talking about these two before the game hope adel brings his A game on Saturday like he did vs Preston because all eyes will be on the pair of them on Saturday . Am just hope this will be one of the times we see the side of Bellamy we all love when he loses his rag and gets sent off .

Agreed. By the way didn't realise you are now playing for Kettering. Took your goal nicely yesterday by all accounts.

Mouth watering contest, that. I'm also just as interested to see how our defence copes with Boothroyd, Chopra and of course Bellamy. Its been brilliant this season, even if its perhaps not being quite as mean as it was a month or so ago. Good test of whether it could survive the Premiership because whatever you make of Cardiff's team as a whole their strike force is undeniably better than a lot in the division above.

Yeah still doing the business as always heard somewhere he is player manager but not sure how true that is but always check there results now but have to say is one of the nicest most genuine people u could ever meet not your average footballer.Back to the original thread who do u feel will come out on top in the battle loyalty aside if adel is on top top form then think he can outshine Bellamy .

I hope I'm not tempting fate but arguably our defence is our strongest feature and therefore Bellamy up against Walker is much harder than Taraabt up against Naughton. So hopefully Adel should come up trumps. However, Cardiff maybe tempted to man mark him but this should free up space for Smith, Mackie etc.

I agree its a media cum fest with regards to Bellamy & with Tarbs thrown into the equation also they will be salivating this weekend.

Personally I'm more looking forward to Walker having Bellers in his back pocket.

more gee'd up bellamy is the better he plays.. im confident if he stays out wide left walker will have him. more worried about whittingham and his service to likes of chopra and bothroyd.. dont expect those two to carve many chances.. just finish them..
Soldier: "im on reconnaissance sir.. im looking for our camouflage expert.. have you seen him?"
              Lovejoy: "No?!"
Soldier: "GOD DAMNIT THAT GUYS GOOD!"

Very true whittingham is very dangerous and with chopra and bothroyd u get the feeling they won't miss as many chances as our strikers do . Am I right in thinking Bellamy plays wide right meaning he will be up against hill which in my opinion would be a disaster he will either go past him all day or hill will get sent off trying to stop him and probably give away a penalty if I'm wrong and he plays the other side we will have to watch the switch because they will undoubtley be targeting hill because like u say walker has more than enough pace to deal with Bellamy.

bellamy will drift.. but he'll start from left.

by all accounts on saturday chopra didnt do it and was subbed at half time.. assuming then bellamy went upfront.

really the war is won before the ball gets to the likes of chopra and bothroyd.. they'll take their chances.. but if they dont get a sniff then they cant score. i see our midfield and forwards stopping the supply. whittingham is the danger man for sure.

I think Tommy Smith could be the match winner for us. He's been in good form and Adel should attract most of the attention

Reading one of their forums (yes i know it is sad but had a days holiday and was bored s hitless) and they are not overly impressed with Bellamy, apparently he's not been half as good as he looked at Man City and has been getting the petrol at his team mates for not being up to his standard.

2 Key Battles. Who ever is up aganst Bothroyd. And Bellamy v Walker. Our Defence is better than theirs, But they have a touch more class up front.

biggest and most exciting game down the bush in decades imho.
proper 6 pointer between the divisons two best clubs.
                            so revved up its untrue.

I read the same Dave. I was quite happy about that but obviously he could have a worldy against us so let's not get too ahead of ourselves. Apparently had a dig at Dave Jones' tactics on Sky yesterday, I didn't see it but would like to know what was said.
