Spot on. And the reason England looks like entering a footballing dark age is that if anything our players are becoming even more workmanlike and less individualistic.

Personally i don't think there is another player like him in the English game at the mo, the last player i would compare him to would be Gazza and even he was dumped by England!!!

That article is spot on as regards to the English game at present, we all know the downside to Adel but at the moment the upside has gotta be worth the admission alone

Btw, i still get irrate when he doesn't play the simple ball but then he goes and smashes the ball in from 25 yards, oh well gonna call him Marmite
