I'm just questioning if he is fit or not and not his ability. Great player who we didn't see the best of because of the way he was managed but if he's out injured for X weeks or months then why sign him or a short term loan which is all we can do until January. He's not played since October - because he's injured or Martinez doesn't select him? Not sure either way myself - but if he is fit and not selected he sure isn't going to be match fit. What would encourage me about Watson signing is that it would show the club is thinking of upping the quality of the squad for next season. Derry has been outstanding and a revelation for the vast majority of games he has played and in many ways my player of the season so far but realistically if we were to get promoted and he was a year older against much faster and better players, is he going to be in the starting 11?Comment

If he joins then I hope I'm proved wrong and warnock gets the best out of him. Cause while he was on loan he was woeful says a lot when we were a better team when he got sent of against reading.
But will give him the benifit lot of crap going on when he was here last seasonComment
