He's not as good as gorkks and connolly but this is a guy who has been slated by the fans, was made captain.....got injured, now no longer in team. He starts in a game where he knows fans views and he does well. He put in some good blocks and stood up to parkin well. Got to give him credit for that?

Nor is he consistent with anything he does. Mishits clearances which glance off his boot, mis times headers, aimless punts when he has time to pass to a hooped shirt...

Done a job yesterday though. Parkin's a big old lump, very difficult to play against.

Would like to see the back of him in jan and get a warnock centre half in. Hobbs at Leicester would do nicely.
