Agree with much of Pete said. Also, the defenders went over to him, it was just the front players. Now I like Mackie but he's got to realise that he's missed a load of good chances recently as has hulse and the rest of them. Adel scoring from a tight angle is far more likely than the others from in front!

Taarabt - clearly not a players favourite

He is frustrating yes but he does things that others can only dream about, some of his tricks yesterday were sublime
I know some of his passing went astray but there were several times when he was defending very well. A quality player that we should be proud to have in our team

Mackie in particular took umbrage when Adel failed to pass, even looking to the bench in frustration, but what a player, the crap I've been forced to watch in recent years that boy can do no wrong, his first was a corker worth the entrance money on its ownI must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross
I must be guided without a stumble

QPR boss Neil Warnock heaped praise on Adel Taarabt following the 3-1 win over Preston which moved his unbeaten side back to the top of the Championship table.
Taarabt scored another two fine goals to leave Rangers looking down on the opposition and Warnock beaming.
"They were excellent goals from Taarabt and that's what he's capable of. But it wasn't just his goals - he's working hard to do the things I want him to when we don't have the ball," said Warnock.
"He's like a matador, the way he struts around that pitch. I'd kick him if I was playing against him.
"If you look at what he can't do you'd tear your hair out, so why not look at what he can do and then go home happy?
"He can be frustrating but if you're going to pay to watch football, who would you pay to watch? You'd pay to watch him. Look at boring England - we need people like Taarabt to entertain us.
"My young son comes just to watch him, and is copying his tricks and doing them in our living room. Even when I look at Taarabt's tricks in slow motion I don't know how he does them.
"It's great to come to Loftus Road at the moment. It's exciting. Of course we'll lose eventually, but at least we'll lose with a smile on our face. "

Have you ever thought that the players might just think the same as some of us - genius. If one of my team mates scored two goals like he did yesterday I might not immediately run over to congratulate him, I might just stand in awe!22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game. Away v Chelsea 3-3 23rd Feb 1974. 40 years of pure magic!!

Yep, NW summs it up VERY well there.
He's learning and is much better for the team than he used to be.
The shot instead of laying back for Mackie or Hulse was the only time I recall him making the wrong decision for the team yesterday, and even then, one could argue the keeper did well to knock it out for a corner. He could have parried it the other way and it would have dropped at Jamie or Rob's feet.
(Much like the 1st goal ?)
He's not going to be MotM EVERY game, some teams play him better (Derby & Savage ?), sometimes it won't all go his way (ie. booked for diving, rather than getting a stone wall penalty) and sometimes, he'll just have a bad game (Bristol City).
All we can do, is hope he learns from experience, hope NW continues to manage & support him AND as he says enjoy what he does well, whilst not lingering on what went wrong.
Since yesterday, I've been enjoying and enthusing to friends over his 2 goals and wasted little time contemplating his 1 debateable mistake.
Bear in mind, we won 3-1, much like when this debate first started last season. V Barnsley 5-2 (and Buzz's lost hat-trick).
When we lose because of it, I'll worry more, but I'll wager Adel will have more to worry about than other players. He have NW to answer to !
Finally, 2 good points made above.
Derry missing, our natural leader.
Mackie applauding Adel from the half way line - perhaps NW was right and after 5 games in 14 days, he was just too tired to run over the the opposite corner flag and preferred to keep what little energy he had for the rest of the game.
All together now - "Taarabt's too good for you", I love it when we're singing that. Means were winning and opposition are not able to deal with it (or him !)

Anyway who cares he's the best player in the division.
Agreed, Mackie, Hulse, HH, et al have to raise their game, not to be concerned with Adel's form or behaviour, to do so smacks of childishness and jealousy and envy.

Mackie and Hulse in particular need to look at themselves too. If they scored 90% of their chances they are more likely to get the pass. I wouldn't pass to Hulse if he had an open goal.
Also, I think these things just blow over after the match.

Certainly, when Adel should have squared the ball to at least 3 Rangers players waiting to slot ball home, anyone would have moaned at anyone...thats football.
Im sure a lot of you have played football and i certainly have played football with a player in the team with Adels skill(Obviously the level is lower..but you know what i mean)/
These players are match winners..Bloody annoying at times , but they unlock defences and win games.
Not a favourite? Dis harmony? I don't think so.Players will look at Adel and maybe moan...but come on....I love watching him play and i think with Warnock in charge...we have the right bloke to get best out of him.....
Do we want to go back to days of un creative midfield players like L/wood ???

Did you see what Hulse had to say about Adel ?
'The player was delighted to get off the mark against Preston when he bundled the ball home from point-blank range – and then revealed star of the second-half show Adel Taarabt threw a wobbler at half time.
Hulse said: "Adel had a sulk about not getting enough of the ball.'
Hmm so much for keeping what happends in the dressing room, in the dressing room.. I cant see it being good for players to be openly critical of him to the press..
We got our Ranger's back!

Neil Warnock was talking about Adel and half time at Preston on his show on Talksport yesterday. He said he had a word with Adel as he was not as productive as he can be and it worked because Adel responded.
If there was a row NW kept it behind closed doors and Hulse should be kicked up the backside for not doing the same.
Hulse is not my fav player at the moment and things like this are not going to help win him any love!
