So you would pay £30 more for a season ticket than paying on the day 19 times

That's a point actually. Surely with 4 less home over the course of the season ST's shouldn't increase as the price per game would increase with us having fewer games to go to?

The club will have some defining decisions to make if we are still challenging in January.

I fear they will go for the "grasp as much as possible" mentality and i suspect season ticket prices will go up, 800 for platinum or equivelant and £700 for gold

I pray they take a sensible longer term view but wont be holding my breath

£100 at arsenalk is expeensive if true but you are getting extremely high quality there week in week out year after year.

many people are prepared to pay for guaranteed quality but wont pay anything like the same for a team who could be on a hiding to nothing on many instances.

Trouble is, Rangers could bring in loads of top class players, but if we can't afford it, we can't afford it, whether or not those players are "worth" it.

big difference is that Arsenal have a waiting list for STs and you hasve to be a "red member" at minimum just to get tickets for poor fixtures iirc.

So they can do this...we can't. If we charged £100 a ticket the ground would be empty - even against big teams.

Don't worry folks, the Premier League don't allow ground swaps in the style of Saracens, so we wouldn't play any PL home games away from LR. Even if by some fluke Bernie managed to wheedle around the PL ruling - the police wouldn't sanction it.

All for recategorising games A, B and C but the the current structure needs to be dropped.

Fair adult prices IMO would be

Cat A - £50 centre blocks SAR, ER - £45 SAR, ER wings, £40 LR
Cat B - drop at tenner from the above
Cat C - drop £15 from the above

These are very "full" prices based on our limited availability, local "competition" and are at the top end of the elasticity. Anything else is taking the ****

Arsenal' waiting list is shrouded in myth and legend. Over 160,000 tickets last year went to Red members........

Just saw the FLS and Coventry's ground. Although empty, you could stretch your legs out comfortably. Those seats and Prem footie, I'd pay 50-60 quid.

yes becuase they reserve them for the games.

Phone them up and ask if you can buy a season ticket next year. You won't get one.

I would pay £5-10 more than now, max.

Sorry guys, I think that's an over-exaggerated statement as usual from conners:

                        Junior Gunners - Upper Tier £24.50 £17.50

Match ticket pricing at Emirates Stadium is based on the principle of an A and B grading, as follows: Category A fixtures: Chelsea, Liverpool, Man United, Man City, Tottenham.

All remaining Premier League games will be category B as will the majority of FA Cup, UEFA Competitions and Carling Cup matches. However, there will be some specific matches which will be designated as Category A. Details will be communicated at the appropriate time.

The thing about prem football is you can see the games streamed live on the net and watch most of everygame on football first on Sky. Whilst i always would rather be at the game anything over 40 quid would just not be worth it to watch any football game.

I may be wrong but after the big price hike two seasons ago werent we told by the orange one that we were paying premier league prices to enable us to get to the PL? in other words there shouldn't be a hike above inflation as we are already paying PL Prices

Prices will increase but to compare us to Arsenal is ludicrous. The emirates is a modern spacious stadium and their team is full of world stars. LR is outdated and we are unlikely to attract players of a similar stature.

Ticket prices are not the main factor why people choose to go or not. We all live on a budget and have varying amounts of disposable income. If going to the match really matters we adjust our spending elsewhere. If my ticket price was to increase by £10 a time, I might choose to drink Fosters instead of Stella and save the money that way. As I've said before on other threads, if you really want to go you can find the money.
22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game. Away v Chelsea 3-3 23rd Feb 1974. 40 years of pure magic!!
