  • Pete, quick question

If you're back in Qblock next Saturday, what's the chances of bringing the drum along ?
Atmosphere has been sadly lacking last few games and if there's any game we need to inspire the players for, with constant vocal support, it's Cardiff.

I reckon the drum reminds people of that and generates momentum.

Spoke to a few people last night and they said bring it.

I am in two minds to be honest. If we canot generate atmosphere against Cardiff, then we have problems

Will be going in the qblock for the game, undecided on the drum

BRING THE GODDAM DRUM PETE !
The importance of the occasion and the opposition should make for a great atmosphere, but Cardiff will sing all game long. And with over 2.5k of them, they'll drown out some home support.

                        We need an edge.
The drum (and drummer) help provide that, it rallys the troops, brings people together, synchrinoses everyone, which leads to optimum noise and effect.

Worry about other games after this. It's the last Saturday game for 3 months.
3 points Saturday would be massive. How could you NOT want to play a significant part in establishing a 5 point lead over the Taffs ?

Come on Pete, you know it makes sense, do it for the team, do it for the fans, do it for your family, do it for yourself. Hell, I don't care who you do it for, JUST DO IT !

                        (Rant over)

I say bring it because it does get the atmosphere going but I do understand if you don't. Some mindless idiots who give Pete stick for trying to generate some noise

Well lets ensure they are drowned out and can't be heard due to the loud and collective support around the ground generated by 'The Drum'.

The end result being more important than any single part.
It's not about any one person, it's about beating Cardiff, getting 3 points and anything we can do to best enhance our chances and not give the opposition any advantage over us.
