  • Best and Worst Decisions This Club Has Made/Since The Takeover

For me, the best decision will always be getting rid of Paulo Sousa. I know he was appointed probably 2 years ago today, but the style of football after a few months made you want to fall asleeep. He changed after a couple of months and as shown at Swansea did not have much bottle himself and easily blamed other people, for his inability to work under pressure

I was amazed at the time that people felt he would go on to manage the Portugal squad and be the great saviour. Flavio made some bad decisions on the playing side early doors, but it was obvious Sousa was just not good enough.

The worst decision for me was changing to many things too quickly. The badge change was always going to be contentious and that probably needed to be done after success, not before it. Prices went up too and that came with the footballing side of things being duller than a squirrel eating nuts

The best decision by a country mile has to be to appoint Warnock and if your looking for the worst decision it has to be to sack Magilton and replace him with Hart...

OK. Perhaps that was a little unfair on Bernie and Flav, it was on Gianni's watch, which I thought counted as post-takeover. If not, and it is 07 on, the managerial merry-go-round of 09/10 and the badge will endure in the memory.

best = Gianni getting them to buy the club, without this move we would have no Warnock.

worst = To many changes and agree with RicRoc (Apparently fans being lied to concerning controlling stakes & ownership)
