Jeffro think you are a being a bit harsh there mate. The poor Norwegians can't win - first we say we cd do better then we say he can't be any good or he wouldn't be coming to us. As none of us English Rs have knowingly seen him play (as far as I'm aware) then why don't we do something really radical - see him play before writing him off.

Im not writing him off, just saying that if he was one of their better players he would be going to the premiership.

Think until we have proof to the contrary we should assume that Neil Warnock has done his homework and that he is good enough to improve us.

Getting into the national side doesn't make him good. You could even say that about a certain few england players. I don't want to sound racist as I love the scandanavians but you are famous for producing quality slalom skiiers. U have had a handful of what i'd say quality players that have done well in the english leagues. I will give the guy a chance but I can't see him being a success if i'm being honest. Again just my opinion.

Now I don't know a lot about this particular player but if he's been among the better in the Norwegian league and also plays for their national side, he sure is good enough for the second best division in England. You're thinking way too much of the Championship.

What you probably meant to say is "the rest of us know nothing about norwegian football, therfore we think he will find the championship much tougher"......

i for one am looking forwards to seeing him play for us,is about time the club started to look to scandinavia for talent. its the usual posters on here that always fail to give new players a chance before writing him off!! & yes i was one of those in pre season doing the same about the signings of hill n derry but was so glad to be proved wrong. warnock has been watching him for a while now so we should trust his judgement that he is good enough.

As far as I know Norway have good defenders not strikers! Hope he is not another Marc Nygaard.
