Here is the response from Phillip Lawrence, Safety Officer at QPR, re the arrangements for crowd control v Cardiff. It would seem that the plan (which appears fluid) is to keep the Cardiff fans in after the game!
Hi Frank,
There have been several planning meetings between our Safety Team and the Metropolitan Police; one of which included Cardiff City FC and South Wales Police.
We are all committed to make this game safe for all and certain measures have been put in place to cover eventualities, and does include advice to away supporters of being held back at the end of the game.
As always the crowd dynamics throughout the buildup, during and after the game will be constantly monitored and incidents dealt with by appropriate resources. We certainly do not want to see a repeat of that evening with Millwall.
Kind regards
Phil Lawrence

Hi Phillip,
I am planning to attend the match v Cardiff on 27th November with my 7 year old son. Please can you reassure me that to prevent the horrific and frightening scenes which occurred at the Milwall game that the away fans will be kept in for a short period of time at the end of the match so that the home fans can disperse.
I am particularly concerned as there is an obvious likelihood that unlike that match this game will not end in a draw and the level of feeling and potential for public disorder is even higher.
I would appreciate your response.
