by holding the taffs back for a period, or will they be protecting their own stewards again, who are supposed to be protecting us?
I have spoken to the local police football desk this morning, and am being told that decisions like that are made between the command room and the QPR safety officer, but not planned in advance. He was not an authority on exact procedure, so could not elaborate on when these decisions are actually made
The guy I was talking to, suggested that anyone who wants to act on behalf of home supporters, will have their concerns recognised as a genuine liason contact point. I have been given an inspector's name, tel. no. and email address.
I will do this shortly so that we know in advance what's likely to happen regarding the taffs being held back. Personally, I quite like to see them being kettled up by the police, as I'm leaving the ground. But it's families who get worried about this so let me see what I can find out and report back.
