Simply said lets wait and see, too many saying we won't make valuable additions to the squad. I disagree

All getting very confusing club did not say that Mittals had taken control but had increased their share of the club and that Flav had sold share's and was not now the majority share holder. obviously Bernie & Mittals both increased their share's but with Bernie becomming the majority shareholder. confusing part for me is that the Mittals said they had appointed the new chairman Ishan Saksena.WHY would they have been able to do this if they did not have a bigger say

        SPOT ON.

None of the wannabe ITK's can provide a reason why Mittals man is fronting the Bernie/Falvio show. Makes no sense.

Jeffro has come in for some stick on this thread but I don't think its unreasonable to ask who owns the club. Its also apparent nobody on here has a clue, be it about the breakdown in shareholdings, the strategy of the board or our spending plans for January.

Just to confirm I AM NOT moaning, simply want to know what is going on.
Why did this come to light in an interview on an F1 publication.

If Briatore hadnt done the interview then we wouldnt have know any different and that aint right.

It is relevant to ask the question and totally right to be asking it.

I would say at the time of announcement, the club never said how much Mittals had increased to and did say bernie and flavio remained share holders. Some clever spin merchant worded that very well and we all fell for it.

End of the day, they have learn;t from mistakes and changed direction. Got a new manager who will not take prisoners and for a team with our support base great quality players. Thats what we all want.

                  or

can you look past that due to our league positioning?

FAr as I was concerned, Amit, and Ishan ran things, Mittal's had a controlling interest and Flavio and Bernie were smaller % holders's. Obviously this isnt true.
Doesn't bother me at all, because I knew it all along. Don't belive in spin

Just want to make it clear - I do not own the club. Just so you are sure. It is someone else.

Hope that narrows it down a little.

On a more serious note - the Mittals being our Knights in Shining Armour was always a fantasy (and yes I have posted that for ever).

1 - We have a team full of players that the club has now invested in.
2 - We have a great manager who is being left alone to run things on the pitch
3 - We are in the top two and have not lost a game this season

Things are going great AT LAST, so as longs as it doesn't affect the team on the field, the board room merry go round can stay in the board room
Agreed, we have a good squad, a solid first XI, a very tough and experienced manager, and to be frank, not racist, Indians are not known for their love of football, they have never achieved anything at Asian level nationally, it's cricket all the way. As long as Flavio leaves Warnock alone, we're okay.

If it's not smoke & mirrors or cloak & dagger, Why dont the club put the record straight who owns what? what puzzles me is if the Mittals dont have the say, how are they allowed to appoint their man to the Chairmanship?
