I do think we need a plan b and if you can't change a system then you can become preditable over 46 games.
Sure, and we tend to go 4-4-2 at the end of games...only problem is that it's players like Clarke(who was a gamble, and can still come to some use) and Agyemang coming on. Warnock will sort it out in january, but still I don't see the need to press the panic button. We have come through a tough period of games unbeaten, and the next 7-8 matches are "easier" then our previous 8. And we have players coming back from injury and suspensions
I don't think we need more strikers. We certainly don't need Bednar. I'd only be interested in an in-form proven Prem level prolific striker... can't see how any club would loan someone like that out though?
you really fine with the ones we got then yeah?
i so wish i had your had your happy go lucky, no worries dont panic mr mannering approach to life.
another stat, 7 goals in total from all 4 strikers we have used. (hh 5, pat 2, hulse 0 clarke 0)
cardiffs two strikers, bothroyd (15) and chopra (5) have 20 between them thus far.
i reckon we would be about 15 points clear with a prolific stike force with the way the our defence plays and the way the rest of the team chip in with goals .
Helguson has been akin to a "fresh signing" this year. Adding him to Mackie, Hulse, Clarke and Smith makes 5 "new" strikers this season. We're more or less the division's top scorers but apparently we now need Bednar??? At some point you just get on with what you've got; unless an absolute gem (bit like Bellamy) bizarely became available I cannot see any merit at all in just swapping like-for-like or destabilising what looks like a strong team unit morale-wise at the mo'.
sod bednar anyway. spurs are deffo ready to get rid of crouch and/or keane in january. surely we could persuade one of them to come to us and be the main superstar in a team going back to the prem.
if we are still up at the top, it would only be four months in the championship for them to endure and then they would be back in the prem and as the main man of the team with a garunteed start every single week of their lives.
i seriously dont think that is too much of a dream either, paying them the money would make it happen, im certain.
