  • The fans have a part to play

Not trying to start trouble here but as things stand I expect to turn up for the QPR game against Preston next Saturday, a crowd of around 12,000 and a very subdued atmosphere. We will not have Derry and it will probably be very easy for Preston to turn us over. If that happens all the gloom will start. We will probably go on to get tonked by Cardiff.

People will start looking for people to blame etc.

    Let's not let that happen.

We are top two in the league. We know have a bunch of players that work their socks off for us as fans, we have a transfer window about six weeks away and also have very rich owners. We will most certainly add to our squad if we are in the top two by then (and to be fair Warnock has proved pretty spot on with his signings to date).

So lets really try and make it a Blackpool type atmosphere next Saturday. Everyone in early from the bars and creating a good atmosphere in the stadium. Let's destroy Preston in the first half and then look forward to beating Cardiff with a full team.

Pete, maybe even bring the drum along and play it in the press box. That will liven the South Africa Road stand up a bit.:yush:

Alternatively, imbibe several pints, wander over to your seat about 3.10pm (tripping over everyone on the way) and just sit there.

Hopefully we will be able to field a stronger team next week anyway -- Hill will back at full back, Walker on his preferred side, and Mackie further up where he can do more
        damage.
Although they did all do well out of position yesterday -- but not ideal at the end of a week where we had three games in a week, two of them away, and playing both of the previous two games with ten men for part of them.

Well said that man.Apart from the last home game there's been more atmosphere on the moon than at LR. Come on lads and lasses give the team your vocal support. We haven't been in this position for many years and we have a great opportunity to achieve what we all want. The team I'm sure can feel and hear when we are behind them and they respond accordingly.

I personally think the Preston game will be buzzing. Why wouldn't the atmosphere be good? We have had 2 tough away fixtures now back at home where we know we perform well I can only see a good day.

              Approx 14,000 also.

it will be rocking again next week, cos at home against poor opposition we all know taraabt, faurlin, smith and mackie are more than capable of scoring, so a good couple of goals will have the old gaff buzzing and the belief back again next saturday.
ive no doubt about that. (fingers crossed its no millwall/norwich)

No, one of his biggest critics last season, that's all.

If you look on the site for tickets you will see many have been sold already, 15,500 imo

I've given up believing that crap, and remember it also includes season tickets whether they turn up or not, (as they are obviously not available to buy)
