  • The point we took last night was...

All thanks to Mr Neil Warnock. It took a giant set of kohana's to make the changes he did bringing on 2 strikers and moving Mackie more central. His attitude simply was he'd rather lose 2 or 3 nil than for us not to have a go at Portsmouth. I think on reflection over the 90 we were the better side. Pompey just shaded it in the first half in my opinion but that was very close. Can only remember the Utaka strike that hit the bar as there only decent chance all game baring the penalty. In the second half we were much the better side and took the game too them. Hulse was guilty of missing the chance of the match and I think Gorkks should have done better with his header but he was on the edge of the area which was our only other decent opportunity. Going down to 10 men again when your away from home and still turning in the display we did was great to see and as I think I've read on one of Pete's post what Warnock is putting into the players drinking water is magic!

Could be a massive point come the end of the season.

Reminded me a bit of when we got the last minute point at Notts County Boxing day in the promotion season.

With the time added on points saved at Derby, Palace and last night it could be the difference between an automatic promotion and a play off place!!!! God willing
