  • Could we be unvincibles?

I know the odds are still massively against it but 16 games unbeaten is incredible.

The irony is that I often think we don't play that well, even when we win. From the sounds of it we were a bit route one, didn't play the ball on the ground and were very predictable going forward. But we still came away from one of the toughest grounds in the division with a point: surely one of those games when you look back over a promotion season you say "that was a big result".

What other really tough matches face us on the fixture list? Cardiff away perhaps, but we've won there? Forest away on Saturday, but they are very up and down? Burnley away? There isn't a single fixture that should fill us with too much fear. I jush wish we would play to our strengths a bit more, then we might turn one or two of these draws into wins - not that I'm complaining about tonight's result, which was brilliant.

On this form we will probably only lose about 4/5 games all season.

I'm very confident in saying we will stay unbeaten the first half of the season (23 matches). I would say that will be enough to get us promoted.

when i came out of the Swansea game, me and my pal went and met a Swansea friend of ours in the pub opposite and some old fella with him said we were the stand out team of anyone they had had there this or last season! and i thought we were shocking against the swans! he also said adel was a dirty C&%T but the best he had seen as well!

were winning & drawing be it stunningly or ugly, Man U do it so why cant we?? how many times a season do they equalize or score a winner in last 2 mins!

I think we'll beat our Forest hoodoo on Saturday and win, and have no fear of Cardiff -- Bellamy looked really slow against Swansea and will not keep up with Walker.

Oh, and Brizzle are beating Swansea 1-0 (Stead).

First beat Forest on Saturday. Then beat the 20 game record unbeaten run. CHAMPIONS. God, that trophy presented to Fitz on the LR pitch is will be like winning the lottery.
