Can honestly see us having a good run in the FA Cup this year.
Lets face it - we are long overdue one!

Neil Warnock has managed a few teams who punch above their weight in Cup competitions.
We are a hard team to beat and will fancy our chances against anyone at home.

As for being a hindrance to the League campaign I reckon it could come as a welcome distraction, to take away any pressures of competing for a top two place.

Just my opinion of course, and would much rather take promotion over a cup run, plus we have to actually WIN an FA cup tie first, but will hopefully look forward to some winter weekend FA Cup Saturdays.

            No.
I don't go in for this modern nonsense of picking and choosing which games, which competitions, football teams should go all out to win.

League cup, a piece of silverware that won't end up at Loftus Rd this season, sadly.

FA cup, a piece of silverware I'd love to see end up being held by QPR.

Championship, a piece of silverware I'd love to see end up being held by Champions, QPR.

We've not won enough silverware in our history, to start turning our noses up at any chance that might come our way

Would be nice to have the distraction of a Cup run bearing in mind our last victory was against the ****bags from Luton (2000 ?).

But whether it would be detrimental to our League form, I'll reserve judgement until the end of December.
We probably got 9 games to play before the 3rd Round, possibly 10.
A lot can happen between now and then, our league position, our form and not least, the Draw.

But, If we get Luton or Vauxhall Motors, then YES we MUST win.

Absolutely hope we go out straight away, and I'll tell you why. Or ask Neil what happened in 2002/3, check it out. They were flying in the league, favourites to go up. Then they got involved up to the SF's of the league cup, just losing to Liverpool in extra time.

FA cup all the way to the SF, lost 1-0 to Arsenal. They were playing attacking football then against everybody, Prem or not, like Burnley a couple of seasons ago. Neil was lapping up the tv courage, I'd say he had a big ego then which got the better of him. He and Sheff utd were the lower league upstarts and he loved it.

I said it to myself then, these cup runs will cost you dearly, and unfortunately I was proved right. Clubs get giddy from beating higher teams and it still happens today. Look what happened to Leeds after they beat Man U last season, went on a big losing run, only just got promoted on the last day.

His team were so good, that if they had gone up then, they could have survived a couple of seasons, cemented their place, and we would never have got him. Has anyone who's got his book any confirmation on what he thought about that period?

So no thanks, once you go past that 3rd round, you're in trouble, the expectation level rises and it's harder to be seen to lose. Yes, the cup games are on saturdays, but that's not the problem. It's the replays, tiredness and injuries that take an unforgiving toll.

And if we get promoted, and he's still here, survival will be the only priority, that's a certainty.

                  Nah. Promotion is #1 priority.

Field a weakened side and hopefully get knocked out as early as possible

Take the cups more seriously once we're in the prem, but first things first.
