Was at the game. Cardiff very average and really only had one clear chance that Bellamy should have scored, although it was a good save from De Vries. They badly miss Bothroyd. Swansea were good - much better than against us a couple of weeks ago and in Emnes have a really good strong player who can hold the ball up well and allow Blake and Sinclair in to the game.

Atmosphere was good, full stadium, 26000 watching. Overall a pretty scrappy affair with a fair result.

That's because Cardiff allowed them to be, people will never look good against us as 'We're just too good for them'

Good point 80's. We were much more in Swansea's faces than Cardiff were, closed them down a lot quicker and didn't let their flair players in to the game, particularly in the first half. Sinclair was nowhere to be seen against us but he caused Cardiff problems yesterday.

All very true - and as someone said above, Cardiff with Bothroyd are a whole different challenge than they are without him.
Saying all of that I truly believe that we have a better squad than them, when taking the quality of the respective defences and midfields together with their superior attacking quota.

I thought Cardiff looked very casual and complacent - sort of like they belived their own hype and would stroll to the title. Nothing to do with Bothroyd's absence at all and more down to their forgetting there are a lot of hard miles to be put in before May. All in all I saw nothing that made me think either side were shoe-ins for promotion.

aye they were poor, but thank god we wasnt live on telly when we played milwall and norwich, bristol was bad enough for the rest of the division to think we are shite.
everyone has off days, they were nothing like the same team that played leeds the week before.
i still honestly believe its between us and them for the number 1 and number 2 spots. i think most people into football do as well.
