I too felt that there was a time that he needed a rest but...

fair do's what do I know... he was back to his best today and that chipped penno and skill to win it in the first place was incredible... hope he continues this form into the Pompey game and beyond...

its gonna be impossible to chose a player of the year at this rate, id be truly gutted for any of adel, kenny, derry , faurlin and mackie whoever wasnt to get it.
every one of them has given so much so far.
also, i dont know if im drunk, but i am starting to really like pat.
oh and hulse is a good player, hes a better version of helguson imho (they are very similar in what they do), but i dont reckon hes got 10 to 15 a season in him.

Taraabt was unplayable today, only way they could touch him was to kick him

              Not going to lie.

I'm absolutely dreading the January transfer window.

Rave reviews in 75% of games he's played in, bags of assists & goals by then & worst of all dare I say it he seems the kind of young guy who would have his head turned easily. Not helped by the fact he has supposedly got an @rsehole of an agent.

How do we keep this guy when the vultures come a knocking??

He won't go anyway in January.

If/when we get promoted he stays. Its that simple

I really hope you are right Pete but what makes you so certain? I know he's under contract & the club don't have to sell but I can see him having a strop & his head dropping if he was told he couldn't talk to a prem club.

                    Reallyyyyyyyyyyyy hope not though.

As I said in my thread last Saturday Adel is an immense player, yet I was shot down last week. Best player we have had in a very long time. Best team performance of the season, but as NW said during the week, 'the season is now starting' - I think today was just a taster of what's to come! You R's!!
22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game. Away v Chelsea 3-3 23rd Feb 1974. 40 years of pure magic!!

I think NW has/is/will continue to get the best out of him. When he has helped us to promotion, champions league qualification & FA Cup Winners, Then Real Madrid can buy him for £40 Million!

how long is his contract? I know that means little in terms of keeping anyone, but protects the value.

I think he'll stay in Jan if we are looking likely for promotion then. He's in a winning team, loved by the manager, players and fans and getting the leading role in the team every week.

If he stays with us he'll get plenty of 1st team action in the Prem and his price will go up as well as his wage earning potential. Jan 2012 should be the next time he looks to move if it's not happening at Rangers. By that stage I expect the Board to have invested in the squad and made it competitive in that league.
