Reading fans weren't happy with Kenny full stop.
He moved every goal kick to the opposite side of the box to kill a bit of time.
They threw bottles at him -- so he killed a few more seconds very slowly and carefully clearing them away.
Yet the only time the ref tried to have a go at him for time-wasting was when he didn't take a goal kick quickly enough -- because the Reading fans had the ball and didn't give it back!!! Kenny didn't even have the ball when the ref 'told him off'!!
How bizarre is that!!

He always used to wind me up when he played for Blades. I never took it personally and I begrudgingly respected his antics and understood he was simply getting an edge for his team. I think he gets away with it because he looks like a 13 year old choir boy and butter wouldn't melt (but actually he's a hard-as-nails pro!).
