I'm surprised the fee would be as low as £2.5m !

I think what it tells you more is what areas of the team might need investment !

That fee is worth every penny on what ive seen of him this year - thats a p*ss take saying that 2.5m is out of our league in money sense.

saying that i thought he was poor against Burnley, he didnt look very interested in the game and i thought it looked like he had a knock at one stage - everyones entitled to an off day i suppose

still should buy him if given the chance - future england right back/midfield
Thank **ck thats all over with !!! need a holiday!!!

              Jeffro,

              Tongue in cheek in comment..shirley?

Where are we in the league again?

Sure we won games with Bradley Orr playing right back, though I could be wrong?

SO you wouldnt see Walker at 2.5 mil as a complete snip and a major investement worth 10 mill if we went up?

So what's Warnock supposed to say then??
"Yeah, whatever Spurs want, we'll pay it. No problem. Sod the price, and sod Bradley Orr too".

I think Warnock knows "the game", and knows exactly what he's saying. Which isn't always what he's thinking/planning.
I reckon we could possibly loan him again, Walker has said he would like to stay the season.... but who knows?

Can I just say here that Spurs would not remotely consider selling Walker for anything like £2.5m.

id never rule anything out. If in Janauary we are still in the top 2, it wouldnt surprise me if we buy him or at least have him until the end of the season. Most people said we couldnt sign Taarabt in a million years, but we did. Anything is possible!

No Jeff, read what I said, I believe we have a limited budget for January window and that budget wll be better spent on other areas is what Warnock is suggesting!
