Gianni and 500k if we go up?

Just read a post by Paul Finney on Reports site that Gianni Paladini stands to pocket 500k if we get promoted

Must admit thats the first I have heard of that but if true then that is scandalous in my opinion

I cannot read it for obvious reasons, but hasten to add the last person to know what happens if we get promoted to Gianni would be Finney. It is well documented he cannot stand him (hope I am not speaking out of turn, buts its common knowledge), so by posting it, I will take it with a pinch of salt unless of course he has document evidence.

If he takes any money from getting promoted ( we don't know the full facts) than I'd think it would be fully deserved as Warnock has already said ( again not speaking out of term, because Warnock is documented and quoted as saying), they work very closely together. WOuld guess Warnock would be on a bonus if we got promoted and that again would be fully deserved.

Paladini is only here as Briatore's eyes, that much is obvious.

If what was said about Ishan and Amit being in full control of the club was true , then Paladini would have been of no use to the club, certainly not £500,000 worth on top of his wages.

Makes the 70% ownership statement by Flav and Bernie, seem even more truer, right now.

Pete, to compare Warnock's effect on the club and Paladini's if we were to get promoted is down right ludicrous.

Without Warnock- no promotion, without Paladini - no change, still promoted.

If you can say straight faced that for a club millions in debt, unable to spend 2 million on a striker, that Paladini would deserve £500,000; quite simply is scandalous.

Its only an assumption and hopefully it can be backed up. The bung theory was a classic and I guess this is just another attempt for a messageboard which is truly independent of any QPR group to blacken someone's name.

Whether we like Gianni or not, posts like that can be damaging because people assume it to be true and before you know its discussed in pubs before games, then people believe, its hard to convince them otherwise.

In reality, would like to focus on getting QPR promoted first then worry about it, as again things like this cause unrest. I remember in Holloways early days the same person caused Ollie to get annoyed at false quotes and accusations, so we have been here before.

I would hazard a guess that a "Sporting Director" would have a clause written in to their contract that would entitle them to bonus payments dependent on the performance of the team. Given that a Sporting Director does have a level of influence in the recruitment of the players that would make any side a success, a contractual bonus payment would not be out of the norm for rewarding major success such as a Cup Win, Play Off spot or Promotion.

Having said that, £500k does seem a very generous award for a non playing/coaching staff member.

None of us know if this is actual fact or not but I'd still like to know the next thing Paul Finney will come out with and how long that will take?

if we go up hes more than entitled to 500k and id be more than hapy for him to recieve it, its a drop in the ocean on a par with the financial rewards the prem affords.
the two old playboy duffers reportedly put 6 times that in every month just to keep the club afloat.
