You say that but they have yet to sign a striker of that value. Wait a min they did get Clarke on a free and hulse for 500k. How can you say that is peanuts when its more money than we have ever spent on signing quality that is needed?
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

£100 is peanuts for me, but if someone offered me that for my old 360, I'd probably take it, then replace with a better machine.
      Your mum would love me...

That's pretty simple. IMO, of course.
No I agree he's not worth 3M however he has already got 8 goals this season and has definatley been one of our best performers. I think he's only gonna better and we shouldn't be selling our better perfomers.

I don't see this being a good thing however.

We have 2 months of the season with plenty of games over xmas. We need mackie to concentrate on his football at QPR

He would be playing for potentially the next Scotland manager too if he went. Premiership football, wage increase, massive club... Very well could unsettle him.

I don't see us getting 3 million for him unless he starts scoring galore in the next 8 weeks.
Banning people is no longer my hobby,
but take a look at my photo blog:

I agree that's why I'd take that £ in a shot. Love Mackie for his work rate & enthusiasm but he's not the man to fire us into the Prem.

                    £1m player at best imo.

We might have got £2 million a month ago for him

Much as I like him and his workrate and enthusiasm, 7 games qithout a goal, is he another Agyemang who started well and.....

Would anyone swap him for Beckford ?

Only paper talk and hyperthetically of course.
NOT AN AGYEMANG. On less than £16,000 a week (that's figure includes all his living expenses, rent etc...) and he actually wants to play football for the club!

You say he is going get better and I hope you are right - but Agyman, Wardley, and others have started like a train and ended up nothingness sort of players. Agree he's got great work rate, strength, determination and speed so could turn into a v decent player but jury v much still out. If we cd sell him and buy a proven goal scorer for the money I for one would not criticise the club.

Doubt its true but 3 million for mackie would be quite tempting, if we got Beckford as part of the deal.
