  • Something was missing

I am going to try and keep this positive. But today it seemed like something was not right about our performance. What has happened to our midfield, it looked as though tactics had been changed to cater for Hulse. There was more wing play which resulted in crosses going in to no one. More direct kicking down by Kenny to no one. I have to say I missed Helguson today, Hulse needs more time training and reserve run outs. I also feel that the captaincy needs taking away from Taraabt and given to Derry. I would like to see our shape and holding in midfield back and creation of more chances and let Mackie play a free role.
I also feel that the lack of atmosphere from our fans could be costing the team's motivation, at the beginning of the season we were on fire. On the positive side we still have no losses and are in a lull. A win against Reading will see a kick start and off we go again.

Faurlin didn't dictate much today, he usually controls his zone quite well. Today not so much.

Faurlin found himself wandering over to the left, he looked a bit shaken after his clash of heads.

Yea I thought that. Also sent a few passes astray & that's not like him.

Yes that was a comical mix-up.
