  • We need to lose a game...

... to start winning again. Keeping an unbeaten record is getting on our players nerves nerves.
I would be happier with 3 wins and 2 losses in the last 5 games instead og 1 win and 4 draws,
To bad HH could not play - strange to see people saying Hulse is rusty and needing few games. Let him put of the rust in reserve games.

A deaf might actually not be a bad thing, crazy as it may seem. The longer the run undefeated goes on the more pressure pours onto the players.

Imagine though the stick the team will take from this board when we do lose.

For fear of upsetting posters........ we will lose some games this season

Oh come on its not as if we are not trying to win games... A 5 game drawing blip is fine by me.

Not as daft as it seems. We need to make changes, and it is not easy to leave players out of a team who are unbeaten in 14 games!

Don't forget guys, the teams we are drawing against are very decent for this division perhaps with the exception of Millwall but that was a derby where anything could happen etc etc

So you'd rather give our rivals points then remain undefeated?

Forget about losing, we need to win a game. There is nothing like a win to boost confidence.

                      Rubbish!!

What you have to do is make changes in the set up BEFORE we lose. What do we have squadplayers for really??

Exactly. One defeat could be followed by another defeat and so on and so forth. Just in the same way that a win could bring a win.

Sir Pie I am not favouring a defeat of course, If we had lost I am sure we wouldn't have drawn in those games. Got a feeling the players brain are affected by fear of defeat.

I do think now we have conceded at home (albeit from a penalty) it will take a bit of pressure off the defense at home and hopefully this saturday we will see a difference, at home it has been a case of going forward but being worried of letting in a goal, whereas overall it's the same with being undefeated as we are afraid to put everything into it in the fear of losing.
I agree a loss wouldn't be a bad thing as long as it's a one off.
