  • Get a grip people

We are still unbeaten in fourteen games and have a goal difference of plus 21 goals and drew against a side who were in the Premiership last season

Even a year ago we would have lost yet again today but still some are unhappy or wish us to slip up to prove a point

Two guys behind me today were discussing if it would be good if we lost a couple of games to force the board out!!

You honestly could not make it some times

    I know what you mean..

"We conceded a goal at home!!!
We are no longer top of the league!!
    Relegation beckons, surely!!
Must all go and jump off a cliff as we can't cope with this!!"
    Daft.

(Not just daft from a footballing point of view, either.

We watched parents lay a wreath for their dead son, and children with Down's Syndrome getting pleasure out of purely kicking a football around.
Get a grip -- and keep football in proportion to the real world.)

Got the feeling someone has kidnapped 4,000 of our fans and replaced them with moaning *******s, the atmosphere the last 2 home games has been dead.

Bring back the 12,000 die hard fans and restore the atmosphere.

Unbeaten in 14, played some top teams, unbeaten, and look good for a tilt at promotion,**** me what do people want.

The atmosphere was Sh**e again today. Agree with Romford, where are all the die hard followers, singers etc? (Maybe they were all in the school end on their Coral freebies?!!)
22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game. Away v Chelsea 3-3 23rd Feb 1974. 40 years of pure magic!!

They must have very short memories of the past few seasons -- things haven't been this good for YEARS.
Perhaps they'd like a new manager? And another? And another?
Cos that's where we were at only a year ago.

Personally, I felt like I was in X block with 300 students on a foreign exchange trip to London.

I sat in R block today and the people to my left didn't speak English, 2 guys in front arrived 15mins late and ate a chinese takeaway for the rest of the half, and the people behind me were eastern Europeans. Where are all our English fans?

We do seem to have a flood of foreign imports this season -- and not on the pitch.
Don't mind bums on seats, but I'd like to be able to talk to someone near me about the game at times.

Who would of take after 14 games unbeaten and 2nd at the start of the season? Me for one, we were never going to stay top all season anyone who thought we would is in cloud cuckoo land. A roller coaster it will be and as long as we are there or thereabouts in March thats all that matters. I say that Cardiff will not win this league.
I blew a lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags. Looking back, I think I overdid it on the tonic. - The one and only Stanley Bowles

Wonder which clogging centre back will aggravate Bellamy's hamstring/knee/ego?

It's amazing how people look back to when everything was better. Atmosphere at QPR has been same for ever, except 1 year when we had big gates and the Oldham game.

Atmosphere wasn't that bad today - been far worse....yes, even in the good old days with these mysterious 12,000 "die hards" that apparently have died hard.

Did not have so many miserable ******* fans though, been in crowds of 8000 at Rangers giving better support than today, and especially Norwich.

Been going since 1965 so have seen and heard everything Rangers fans can dish out.

Too many on here harp back to the so called good old days of league 1. We had a great atmosphere because we invariably won at home and went unbeaten all season. I loved that season in P block because we went up but I don't want to play the likes of colchester again! Why is having a few foreign fans wrong? It's good for the club. You cankt speak to them? What they don't speak english or is it you don't want to cos their foreign? Sometimes the attitude of some of our 'support' beggars belief. Thought we were supposed to be a family club and welcoming to all people? I wonder with some whether their attitude to adel would be different if he was english

Come from a mixture of cultural backgrounds myself, not a question of being anti-foreigner at all.
Got a linguistics degree and can speak 4 languages -- but the large groups of foreign fans keep themselves to themselves and don't seem willing to talk to the (very few) English fans around us, myself included.
Not unwelcoming, just feeling very left out when so few will chat -- very different from being in the Lower Loft, where everyone talks to everyone.
