  • Hogan Ephraim........

what the f**king hell is he offering to the side at the moment??? I didn't even notice he was playing today. Don't give me this b0ll0cks like some Rangers fans do and say he tracks back. He is on the pitch to create chances and score goals and he is doing neither at the moment.

Smith did more in 10 mins than he did in 80 mins. What the hell does Smith have to do to start a game??????

A very disappointing game. We have no plan B at the moment. Defence and keeper are superb at the moment and doing their job. The creative players just have no idea at the moment. Saying that though, what a soft penalty. No way in my opinion and how was Eagles not sent off??????

I thought Smith should be playing instead of him at the moment.

Nut Warnock off? Wash his motor? Do his weekly shopping? Iron his clobber?

Cos whatever he is doing aint working... Smith deserves his chance from the start now.

Can't fault the guy for his effort, but is clearly not good enough to warrant a starting place with the options available.

Seriously I've never rated Ephraim, never looked worthy of a starting spot. Proved me wrong beginning of the season but has resorted to his usual anonymous performances the last three weeks or so. I honestly don't care that we are unbeaten, don't change a performing team yada yada yada. Smith made more happen in a cameo ten minutes than Ephraim has done in the last two games combined. Whatmore he has played with Hulse and Helguson and previous clubs. On a positive note thought Mackie was back to his usual self today.
15 years in the wilderness will be a distant memory come Sunday 8th May 2011.

I think he touched the ball about 3 times in the 1st half.

He is awful. Tommy Smith is a far more intelligent player and should be rewarded with a start.

Ephraim did nothing the whole game! Could've been so different had Smith started or come on earlier! Hope we see changes for Reading!

Agree that Smith should now start, he looks sharper and eager to play.

Can we have a vote on this? Be interested to see how many think he should still be in team

Tommy smith should definately start ahead of Hogan against Reading, just a shame that he can't be involved when we play Pompey !!!!!!!!

As has been said, Smith done more in 10mins than Hogan has in the last 4/5 games !!!!!!!

Hogan & Smith - agree 100%. Tommy should start. Hogan too lightweight, rarely beats his man and never gets to the touchline and cross.

Plan B - disagree, we do, but sadly it's a big punt up front. How else wouldClarke get a game ?

Eagles - why should he have been sent off ? He dived and feigned a face injury, but was rightly booked by the Ref. But that's not a red card offence !

Started a thread a couple of weeks ago titled "what is the point of Hogan Ephraim?" Today's game yet again provided no answers. I don't recall him touching the ball the entire game. Utterly anonymous. Ludicrous he is still chosen.

What did he do yesterday, he touuched the ball about 2 - 3 times in the first half and a couple more in the second

I reckon his wages worked out about a thousand pound a touch yesterday. He was woeful.

Get smith in to start ahead of him next week definately. Even Dave did more.
Thank **ck thats all over with !!! need a holiday!!!
