If we retained Harbin and Ainsworth in their current jobs then De Canio would be a vast improvement on Calderwood or Magilton.

De Canio's QPR let in late goals due to poor fitness levels which hopefully Harbin would eradicate. Ainsworth would provide the link between players and management and can also speak English which Luigi had trouble with.

Would I have preferred Warnock, Curbishley or Coppell? Yes but would I choose De Canio over Magilton, Calderwood and Ainsworth himself? Definitely.

I would laugh, stupid decision to install someone who wasn't that great first time round for the reason that no decent British manager wants the job and they know appoint De Canio will annoy the fans less than appointing a crap British manager e.g. Magilton!

As Johnny Rotten said ' ever get the feeling you've been cheated?'

LDC would be a bigger joke than Magilton or Calderwood.

Which is exactly how they want it.

                      --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The problem with Di Canio, if what Delaney said is true, and there is nothing to doubt his word, is that under Di Canio there was little work done on the defensive side in training, and also the fitness levels were not what they should be. This is very worring, so for me I hope he doesn't return.

Its not only defensive work they didnt do, they didnt do anything! The players trained themselves cos no1 could even speak english and ive got this on authority from a certian someone. Not naming names but it would be stupid to bring him back. Aidy Boothroyd or guy poyet please.
