is diabetes that serious an illness it needs charity funding then? i thought it just meant people cant have sugar in their tea.
what does the money help the sufferers to do, all get free canaderel?

My Dad has diabetes. It doesn't effect his lifestyle that much to be fair. He just has to be a bit carefull what he eats/drinks. He does take quite a lot of drugs for it though.

GTP I find your comment rude and offensive, although the money would probably be better going towards finding a cure for cancer. I would love to not have to give myself injections everyday so am glad that this money will be going towards research into diabetes.

it was a joke cooks, i didnt realise it was a bad illness that needs research and didnt mean to upset anyone.
i know a mate whos got it and he counter acts it when we go out by drinking 20 bottles of pils (cos the sugar turns to alchohol) instead of having fosters, so i just thought it was something very small on the diaseses scale, and was being light hearted.
