I am similar to you however I have let it get out of hand.

I won't ever give up but I need to set myself a budget.

When I start chasing my loses thats when it gets completely out of hand.

Hearing that John Terry is in the red when on over 100k a week does make me sick.

I did lump on Cardiff when I heard it was 6/4. I was telling everyone about it. It was easy pickings as Cardiff score goals and Leeds have been dreadful at elland road. Made myself a nice little profit.

This is the thing mate, either have a limit or play with the winnings, I have a stan James online account and did many many bets and even up to 18 months in i was only even just, probably well done now over 3 years.

Opened up all accounts to get offers and free bets and got sucked in.
Lost £600 one night online poker, stopped playing immediately, started to play the free game one but cant get excited when nothing to play for..

Jeffro know what you mean. I signed up to party poker and played in some 120 dollar buy in's. The only time I won a game of online poker was in the 2 dollar buy in so only made 270 dollars. Too many people chase a flush and on party poker they would always get it on the last card. Thats not skill thats luck. I have won more when just playing games with mates allbeit we don't go silly, just 10pound buy in and 2 games lasts the whole night.

I think the rooms are fixed anyway with 4 mates in same room on laptops knowing what each other has, then me or you the outsider is never gonna win and they clear up. I have won big with mates too. Best way mate!!

agree Jeffro but that only works on the cash pot tables where 3 mates can play on a table of 6. This happens often and I know people that play that way. Thats why I only played in the big tournaments that would have 500 plus players. U would need to get in the top 100 to make a profit. I have given up with party poker. I made more from gambling on sport.
