granted i know, but now there is a Welsh league then surely the countrys top sides should be supporting it? Also play in England affilliate to the FA so your cheating association doesn't turn over decisons that affect big games.

Nobody down here wants to be in the Welsh FA. We have been trying for years to get out of it

Gareth Hi, I have never met you so cannot judge you and don't believe in tarring everyone with the same brush but I have to go to work in Cardiff at least once a month and am always treated with disrespect when i go there, obviously there are exceptions but if i decide to have a drink in the City Centre as soon as i open my mouth and they hear an English accent you get a lot of people turning their heads and always giving you dirty looks.
Also it annoys me that (however little) i have to pay to enter Wales, i know you are going to say that the toll is for the bridge, well if that is the case why are the Welsh not charged for coming the other way (Into England) also using the bridge.
Another thing i do not understand is why Welsh teams are allowed to use the Welsh FA when playing in the English Football League, surely it makes sense and on an even playing field if everyone plays and is dealt by the same FA and same rulebook. There have been many occasions when a welsh team have used the Welsh FA to overturn cards etc. I'm not asking you to answer that though.

You are correct, that it is The Football League, not The English Football League; but please answer this.

Why does your club go running to The WFL whenever they don't get their own way?
Why does your club receive 'special' treatment from The WFL, when as you say, you have been trying for years to get out of it?

Also under 'The Football Leagues' ANTI-DISCRIMINATION POLICY - states:

The Football League seeks to ensure that spectators, players, officials and others involved at football matches and in football generally should be protected from discrimination, including that on the grounds of age, race or ethnic origin, religious belief, sexual orientation, disability, gender or any other unjustifiable reason

It is common knowledge to all ENGLiSH supporters who step over into your sess pit, that they will be subjected to discrimination based on their race.
ie.e Burning of our National Flag & racial taunts about our country. Therefore, why has The Football League not acted on these incidents?

It seems you guys play The WFL off the FL for your own gain & advantage in every aspect; I guess we can't blame your club for doing this, as they always seem to get away with it - But I think you will find that this is one of the many reasons, your club is looked down upon by the rest of The Country; even other Welsh teams, think you are an embaresment to their country.

This has nothing to do with your current position in the league; I have disliked your club for many decades.

They've probably got a way of getting out of that too.

So many people getting their FL's and FA's muddled....

Cardiff, Swansea, Wrexham, Newport County, Merthyr Tydfil, Barry Town, Aberdare - all current or ex members of the Football League - fully entitled to membership.

Time to move on. This is a silly argument based on jingoism.

NB - despite playing in Scottish league football, Berwick Rangers are members of the FA and utilise the FA in their disciplinary issues, not the SFA.

Excatly, they use one & stick to that one; our friends out to the west, seem to play The FL off the WFL to gain an unfair advantage; also we were talking about their hatred of all things English & how The FL, with their ANTI-DISCRIMINATION POLICY allow all the racial hatred to go by unpunished, especially in light of the 'Kick it Out' campaign'
Its almost like a 1940s Jew wanting to be an active member of The Nazi party - Just don't make sense.

Thank you for pointing that out, I think you knew that I meant the FAW.

But there is an actual WFL at www.welshleague.org.uk, but obviously this has no bearing on this discussion.
