It probably wont happen, but if QPR and Cardiff both won their next two games... they'd both be over the hill and running away from 3rd place.

    QPR: v Burnley and Reading
Real Cardiff v Norwich and Swansea.

    All at home.

IF that happens... then it would look that way.

Long, long way to go though.

Jacks are looking strong if they keep Pratley and Sinclair fit

        Ah, Scott Sinclair.

Very talented, but possibly the biggest bottle-job ever to play for QPR. (on loan a couple of years back)

Saw him blatantly jump out of half a dozen tackles at Selhurst Park one chilly day with my own eyes.
Pratley is a good player though.

If Pompey stay clear of injuries, they'll be up there. No, seriously, stop s******ing - they have the strikers - Kitson, Nugent, Utaka and even Kano are top notch at this level. With good strikers, you'll always stand a chance...

definately not a two horse race. I am sure that either Cardiff, or us, or both, will fall out of the top 2 at some stage this season.

I think there are other teams who could come through, so unrealistic to write everyone else off like that.

I fancy Forest to challenge for auto promotion and think Burnley could also enter the frame

I honestly think it'll be tight. A Bellamy injury for Baahdiff, and they'll struggle. It happened before when they lost to both Ipswich who we maulled, and Leicester who's only win under Sousa was against them. That says a lot IMO.

Is it a two horse race? Definately not, 4 maybe 5 teams will competing for the top spot. Long way to go yet

I agree with the poster regarding Portsmouth. Very much a promotion threat.

Suprised only 1 poster has mentioned them.

They have alot of quality and also the signing of Laurence and Kitson was shrewd business allbeit they must be on a big wage. Yes they don't have money but they have added 2 quality players with these 2.

Also they are the form team in the division, only 9 points away from us, most would of been thinking relegation but they are now pushing for a playoff spot. This division is all about mini runs. We have managed and so have cardiff and pompey.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

I reckon Pompey have the strongest 1st XI by a country mile. I expect lack of squad will do for them in the long run but I'd still expect them to bother the top 5.
