Dunno mate.

As I said Warnock seems happy, the players seem happy and we are riding high at the top of the league, so not that bothered. Flavio never pitches up at a game anymore so doesn't get abused and like Bernie said in his recent interview, will be getting more involved. The 3 of the main people at the club seem to be doing a good job this season so far.

How many times did Warnock mention how instrumental Flabbio was in his decision to come to the club when he was introduced to the media as QPR manager ? I thought he just said Saksena and Amit and how his wife liked them so much.

Mallya was very interested. Very interested indeed. Whether that means Kingfisher weren't is just semantics IMO.

Pete, personally I have no doubt that Kingfisher was interested. Warnock even said at the end of the transfer window that one of the reasons for a couple of signings falling through was becasue 'there was things going on behind the scenes'-obvously new owners coming in.

More to the point, I think Flav & Bernie have seen our position in the league and now think they have a possibility of making some money out of us again and therefore I cant see them selling until at least when/if we get to the premiership.

To be honest, I am more interested to know who is the majority shareholder within the club.

I have my doubts about the truth behind these rumours. Always have. Though I have no doubt there is much shennanagins going on right this moment about share ownership amongst the Board. I am not ITK at all but I know that much from contacts at the club.

So it is no news to have a rumour confirm this is "off" any more than it was top have a rumour it was ever on. This rumour mill of course is what makes shares go up and down in value so people with interests always feed the fire. Put it this way - if Mallya is or ever was interested in buying into Rangers why on earth would he let it be known as the price of buying in would undoubtedly rise. But having another buyer rumoured to be in the wings is always useful when you are negotiating your sale. All puff and nonsense, Believe it only when I see it.

All I heard is that the decision on the future location of the club is almost ready to be taken and waits in abeyance of a Board decision "in principle" but the Board members are looking over each others shoulders about the financing of the project as the value of their shares is considered likely to rise after this decision is taken. One side of the Board is apparently worried that the other side will agree to the long term plan but seek to sell up as soon as the stock rises, leaving the rest to meet the financial commitments. They are seeking assurances from each other about the longer term financing of the project before any of them are ready to commit. Told they want this sorted so that they either (a) tie each other to a financial commitment about the development or (b) make a clean break so that those left can press on now. The lawyers are being tasked to produce options (and have been for some weeks now) , which is why I think we are getting more odd leaks lately about the Board and finances etc. Including this one!! This was from someone I know and trust but they tell me that so many people at the club/lawyers etc are being used/primed to make inspired leaks it is difficult for even him to know if he is being played in that way or not. So only time will tell.
