DAVID BARNSDALE TRIBUTE
Posted on: Tue 26 Oct 2010
The Club will pay tribute to the late David Barnsdale, from 33 Engineer Regiment (Explosive Ordnance Disposal), at Saturday's home fixture against Burnley at Loftus Road.
Acting Corporal Barnsdale, who was an avid QPR fan and watched the R's in action against Middlesbrough and Ipswich Town earlier this season, was killed clearing explosive devices in Afghanistan recently.
To mark his sad passing, his parents - Steve and Wendy - will be lay a wreath in the centre circle just prior to kick-off on Saturday.
Please show your respects with a moment's applause, as we salute this brave man.
The Club expresses its deepest condolences to Mr Barnsdale's family and friends at this time.
May he rest in peace.
