    Doubt it.

If anything, that will really fire up Burnley.

Swansea going like a steam train now!

And Leon Cort was sent off so he is suspended next week against us.
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

Good result for the fake hoops especially as Burnley had been undefeated for 7 games,
What relly pissed me off though was football focus saying Cardiff will go joint top with us if they win on Monday, bullsh1t joint is the same, we have a much superior goal diff than the taffs. Always the same, talk up the taffs.

More worried about Swansea than Cardiff.

They are at Selhurst next week, then the big Welsh derby, then they have easy games for ages.

I get what your saying, with us playing Cardiff also next month, that being a draw could well help Swansea, they could be a surprise.

Actually you have just put the worst thought possible in my mind: Cardiff and Swansea both being automatically promoted to the Prem next season. Surely they couldnt allow it , it would be like Celtic and Rangers coming in too.

Given that the Prem is flooded with foreign players, perhaps it's where Cardiff, Swansea, Celtic and Rangers belong.

But it's the 'English Premier League' governed by the FA not the Welsh FA as Cardiff and Swansea always go crying to with bookings etc.

I think them getting spanked not great news for us as they will want to get back on track. I think they'll have Carlisle back as well won't they? Think his suspension is over but might be wrong about that. Also think it isn't certain that Cort will miss our game despite his sending off. It was for two yellows not straight red (I think) so they is some flexibility on when to start the ban.

                        From FA disciplinary section:

"(b) PLAYERS SENT OFF UNDER LAW 12 (7)
A Player who is dismissed from the Field of Play for receiving a second caution in the
same match will be suspended automatically from FTCM commencing forthwith, until
such time as his Club’s First Team has completed its next FTCM."

So Cort is supended for their midweek match and will be available next Saturday.
                        As will Carlisle.

But I still think we will turn them over.
