I won't be lectured about a players performance by people who haven't seen the performances. The point for debate is what to do with Adel. Fact is any one who really was that talented would not be splitting his own fan base this way. IMO it#s time to take off the tinted specs and use Adel differently - And I reckon that's from the bench for now until he proves he deserves the start. That seems inarguable to me on the evidence.
Is your opinion worth more than Neil Warnock's?

Lee you really dont understand what people are saying. He got championship player off the month for the first month of the season, when his passing and movement was outstanding and he deserved the award.

He is not playing the same now as he did then and people are coming up with reasons why, but the simple fact is he has gone from passing and moving to me, me, me. (When was he given the captains armband ?)

Simple question, when did you last hear 'Taarabt's to good for you' and why do other players now get louder cheers when the teams are read out ?

I heard "he's just too good for you" at the Norwich game.
He also played well at Swansea.
He had a poor game at Bristol -- he wasn't the only one.
And he hasn't been the only one who's had a few poor games recently.
Faurlin is my hero!!! Love him!!! #########

Oh dear what a shocking post.

I bet you foam at the mouth when he does every single step over.

Agree others haven't been on form but when your play and set pieces are going through 1 man that is having shockers then the team has a serious issue. You rave about player that deserve it like Faurlin but defend luxurys, get your act together Swanley and stop being a typical school teacher who can't make straight forward decisions.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

That is an incredibly insulting post.
"I bet you foam at the mouth when he does every single step over" -- what kind of a comment is that?

Why have you got such a chip on your shoulder about me being a teacher, and what is a "typical school teacher" anyway?
I suspect you have a stereotype in your head which is far from the truth.
I'd love people like you to spend one week with me to see exactly what I do -- because it is nothing like what you'd expect.
If you have a problem with teachers, that is not my problem; you don't know me or how I teach, and when I'm at football or talking about football I am a million miles away from my job anyway.

Oh, and while we're at it, please don't PM me again.
Certainly don't want to read anything written by you if it is like the post above, and won't respond to anything you have to say again.

tarbs is a good player for us but he needs to learn that if he isnt performing he has no given right to be in the team.. thus making him put a shift in when things dont go for him.

he is getting a lot of stick.. especially friday night.. every error he made he got moaned at for.. even those when he actually did the right thing but didnt get the shot on target.

we have buzsaky for a reason.. he will score goals.. if we had buzsaky in positions we had taarabt in friday we would have prolly won the game. so many times first half we was screaming out for somebody to pull the trigger.

hogan and tarbs both need to sit on the bench for a game or two. if this was anybody else we'd be calling for changes. i feel a lot of rangers fans are scared of tarbs throwing a paddy if he gets dropped. well if he does then he needs to grow up. I will say in his defence that tarbs wasnt the worst player on friday for us. felt hogan and gorkks played worse.

                Lovejoy: "No?!"

Couldn't have put it better myself, even though it was me who called for a second poll on Taarabt following his dismal display against Bristol.

I think the vote would have been even further divided had the choice been restricted to "play him or put him on the bench" rather than 2 of the 3 options be for him to play, one as captain and one not.

him as captain is just ridiculous.
a slight flaw in warnocks genius is his novelty choice of captains.

I think you are right that people are worried that if he is dropped, he will sulk, throw his toys out the pram and want to leave, so they are happy to accept whatever he does and make excuses on his behalf. If these same people think Derry will let it go after the strip he tore of Adel on Friday after he stupidly lost the ball forcing Derry to make a rash challenge and get booked, I think they are in for a shock.

and another thing that makes me laugh is people keep saying he might get the hump and leave us. just exactly where would he go?
no-one wanted him before, and im certain that no-one would want him now after one player of the month and one worst player of the month award.
bet not one single club on the planet would buy him from us for what we paid.
people have got short memories, he didnt want to come to us, he doesnt really want to play for us, and hes only here cos no-one else wanted him.

My point was that my opinion is worth more than anyone who has seen him less than I have. (Which is every competitive ball he's kicked). So that'd Include your worthy opinion from Kuala Lumpur/Penang or wherever it is you are in Malaysia. Please don't lecture me on a players performance when you have never seen the player perform eh. It is an argument you can't win.

Those that have seen him all now seem to be coalescing to the same point - he needs a kick up the #### and should start from the bench. Happy with that. Best all round

Then he can prove it from the bench eh - rather than waste 70 minutes poncing about to come to the conclusion he is just poncing!

I like the guy (well actually that's a lie - he seems a bit of a **** as a person but I like it when he scores spectaculars and makes opponents look like twots) and wish he would get on fire and do that again. But he aint so he don't deserve the start. That's all.

I think we all have to ask ourselves this - we are all football suporteres and we all love Rangers - yes? So if that is true why do some of us not rate him? Why does opinion of him split us R's? Stan and Les , Paul Furlong or Johnny Byrne never did that.

I think it is coz he aint a team player. That's why.
