  • The biggest mistake Warnock made this week

Coming back from Swansea in the early hours of Wednesday and then heading back down the same road on Thursday.

Should have treated this week like they do a pre season tour and headed west after last Saturday's home game, travel to Bristol after the game on Tuesday night and had a few days rest.

Still, very proud of the way the players never gave up tonight. We would have definitely lost that type of game in previous seasons.

wasn't just his choice, he asked the players what they wanted.

Get real. I do a longer journey to work... 5 days a week.

          Ditto.

Don't create excuses for them. They were rubbish last night end of. It's nothing to do with the journey. By the way it was Bristol, a relatively short trip up the M4, not Newcastle....

They would barely have had time to finish a poll as to who would get the least passes of Adel in the game!

If the players wanted to return between the trips, that's down to them.
What's more noticeable is that the main under-performers -- AT, Mackie and Gorkss, who looked well below par -- are the three who were on international duty.
That's probably got more to do with it than a couple of piddling little trips up the M4.
            Swansea -- 3 and a half hours. Bristol -- 2 hours.
            Nothing, really.
