Good stats but look at Newcastle's forward line vs ours and its a different story. I Don't what to come across negative as I am delighted with our start and goal difference but at last nights game I went into the bookies and struggled to pick a player for first goalscorer. We have some very decent attacking players but no goalscorer

That is an insulting and outrageous statement about the strikers we have at the club. HH, Hulse, Agyemang and Mackie will take us up.

Your taking the **** I assume,Aggy a quality striker, who will take us up!,and HH has done a great job on holding role but hardly quality striker material.Hulse is not match fit bit when he is he will be useful but we need a quality finisher to get prompted

slam those brakes on sunshine. Newcastle's front line is Carroll, Ameobi, Best and Lovenkrands.

are they really that much better than Helguson, Hulse, Mackie and Agyemang?

If we do get a striker, it will be in January, so does that mean you are going to bang on about this until January? Or do you expect a striker to come in next Monday?

The 'unfortunately' should have come after the 'Yes'

                      Simple answer is yes sunshine.

Are you trying to say that Carroll and Ameobi wouldn't get into our starting line up?

No QPR fan wanted helguson to come back from watford and nobody wanted paddy back from city now all of a sudden you think they are going to fire us to the premier league!
If you read my post again I clearly say that we have decent attacking players. My point is we badly need a out and out goal scorer to turn draws into wins.

Funny how Arsenal and Man U don't appear to have a fearsome no.9 up front but are doing mighty fine despite this handicap? Also, Liverpool have one of the world's best no.9s up front but are having a mare of a season.
Could go on all day about needing more pace in defence, a flying winger, an up-and-down midfielder, a 30-goal-a-season striker etc etc. Overall, I think we have assembled an excellent squad that is capable of sustaining a big promotion push.

They will see this is the case in a few weeks time when we have been knocked off top spot and the 3rd place team on our tails
