  • How Do We make ..Loftus Road A Fortress?

When ever I go to away games, most of the time I can see referees make a decision based on the fans reaction, in most cases thats because they feel intimidated. You get defences often making a slip up because they are under intense pressure.

We are slowly becoming the Ipswich Town of the championship, whereby simply no atmosphere at home, yet we are top. I used to hear, well maybe if we won a few matches we would get behind the team, well we are top?

So, with home games coming up how can we improve it? At this rate not only could we be embarrassed by the volume that Burnely fans give us, but more importantly against cardiff it might happen and that would be a travesty.

Turn the lower loft into the general access home end it should never have been changed from.

    Move the families elsewhere.

On saturday, sat in the SAR it seemed like Q, P and R blocks were being well outsung by the Narrich

Agreed. Make the Loft a hostile area by getting rid of the kids. It should be the loudest part of the ground.

ground needs to be re-organised as a matter of urgency. don't understand why the club aren't onto it. cd make all the difference.

Said this 3 seasons ago, make school end home only.
Give away fans 2 blocks in ellerslie, would reduce their potential numbers to 1800 ie 10%.
which i believe is the minimum we can allocate away fans.
For some reason club seem to not wish to do this.
It would cost some money to create segregation in Ellerslie road however it's not as if we don't have the cash for this is it!

Simple put all the prawn sandwhich fans , people that want to sit down / not sing in a different area simples .
Just look how good the atmosphere is at away games , thats because everyone that wants to sing and stand all go to the back make some noise and out the way of all the sitter downers

Buy a big iron gate, drawbridge and build a moat around Loftus Road

alternatively, get a rotund, receding, fifty something, Qblock "season ticket" holder to bring in his drum and give it a good whacking!

Give away fans top tier of school end only, move family's from lower loft to Ellerslie Rd, then at least you will have hopefully the hardcore ie; singers & old school loft lovers behind both goals. Giving away teams a whole end behind a goal is an advantage they should not have imo.

agree. also i think any1 who wants to sing should go up in xblock and w block up next 2 the away fans. , going up the back of r block is great but i think if all those moved up to x and w it would create much better atmosphere and the away teams will hear us as they cant all way from q and r
This isnt just goodbye, this is i cant stand you!

I don't drink anymore, but I'd suggest pounding a few extra pints before games, alcohol will increase the decibel level.

Introduce the boo boo wailers to each punter who enters the stadium, that way no one on the pitch can here a scooby and it will be a very even game.

much has been said, but I think this would help ...in order:

                          1. MOVE THE DAMN KIDS - Family stand has utterly ruined the Loft including the Upper, as it has a knock on effect.
1b. Move away support to a block on ER or SAR. We should have our players shooting at our fans ALL the time. Other clubs have done it with the aim of improving home form.
                          2. Lower the price of alcohol in the ground (ok, not that likely and irresposnsible of me, I know)
                          3. Get more people down to X-Block for the bigger games (I personally don't like it for smaller games)
                          4. Get some better songs organised!!
                          5. Throw our cards into the ring for Rooney. It's clearly between us and Real Madrid and city ;)
                          6. Attract more fans (different debate)....full house doesn't mean more sounds, but is more likely to generate it.
                          7. The only other option is always shunned by fans...even ridiculed....but mroe fan oraganisation prioor to and during games. Not saying that will work, but it does abroad. And no, I don't mean like the "Palace Ultra's"
                          8. Terraces....yea well.

Dig a moat, add a drawbridge, some guards and some turrets.

                            Sorted.

i think that personaly it doesnt matter where you put the kids.

we need more songs theres nothing to sign for new fans if you get me we have a couple of songs realy

                              stick the blue flag
                              warnocks blue and white army
