Journey seemed a little longer then I remember but the coach dropped me off at Chiswick Roundabout and got a mini cab fpr £12 home which was half the price of the return trip to Swansea

Basically QPR looked very very strong and the defense was immense and apart from the penalty which the linesman gave Swansea were hopeless

2nd half I thought Swansea were much better then us though we never looked like conceding and a bad 1st touch from Mackie let him down towards the end when he looked like scoring

Tannoy fella said I think 460 QPR fans there tonight

470 fans in the end I think! Well done for making the trip, what you said is pretty much what the comms said as well.

So how did Faurlin do, does he look fit again?
Was he working well with Adel, as in the start to the season?

That's an encouraging call George. I know we would have lost a game like that last season.

I agree with Isleworths comments - we were very good in the first half. We looked strong, fast and committed and our midfield were men against boys with Faurlin running the show. Second half was a bit of a different story, we committed less men forward and although Swansea were much better they never really looked like scoring. The penalty was the right decision, a definite shove in the back by Clint Hill but a great save by Paddy.

Adel really impressed me last night, not just his skill but I thought his workrate was good and he was very committed in the tackle - a bit too committed on one occasion.

I thought Ephraim had a quiet game, but generally all played their part. We did lack a cutting edge though and matters weren't really improved with the introduction of Agey, Smith and Clarke. I really thought Mackie would score when he was through one on one but like Isleworth said his first touch let him down and he was a bit too close to De Vries when he shot.

the QPRWorld feed said the Adel challenge was quite reckless....he was subbed straight after, which was probably wise. Thought he might be getting a red. What did it look like to you guys?

I think a point is decent up there.

To be honest I thought he would get a straight red card at the time

Tarrabt tackle wasn't great and it was a little retribution for a tackle on him a few minutes later. He actuallly waved his arm towards one of the Swansea players who luckily did not react and Warnock immediately subbed him. He then got someone to take him down the tunnel, because Adel was obviously still pretty reved up.

All in all the defence was outstanding and Faurlin was simply class, though did get booked. Mackie had another quiet game, but should have scored, Hogan had to do more defensive work than normal, but its fair to say he is not firing either at the moment, going forward.

Might be time to freshen things up a little.

So Pete he got his retribution in before it happened did he?

so true that. we really do need to adress the scoring situation tho, cos i can seriously see these blanks becoming a bad habit.

Thanks for the first hand accounts from those of you that were at the match! I was limited to reading the BBC and Sporting Life text updates! It looked like Faurlin was very involved with the play, I think he makes AT a better player when their both on the pitch! Am I on the right track with this?
