  • 29 years since we won at Swansea

Championship leaders QPR, who last won at Swansea 29 years ago, remain the Football League's only unbeaten side, but Brendan Rodgers may fancy his chances of plotting their first defeat of the season.

Rodgers, whose team are fourth, is a man on a roll, having guided City to recent away victories over his former clubs Watford and Reading, both of whom had been in good form. A win against QPR would complete a remarkable hat-trick for the Swans boss.

Neil Warnock accepts that his team hitting a sticky patch is inevitable, and insists it is how his players react to any dip in results that will determine whether they can sustain a promotion challenge.

He is yet to make an unenforced change to his line-up this season, but with his side facing three matches in the space of six days, the Rangers boss is considering his options. Warnock is particularly keen to give a full debut to recent signing Tommy Smith.......

Ridiculous and meaningless stat... like saying we haven't beaten Rochdale for 60 years or something.

It's a long time since we beat AEK Athens also.

We've probably played them 3 times there since then, and Manure are also unbeaten, so we're not the only ones either.

          That report isn't exactly great.

Still...We'll be going to break that record tomorrow

I think you'll find that we ARE the ONLY team unbeaten in the football league.

Man Utd are in the Premiere league

Everyone will want to be the first team to break our unbeaten run, it's something we've got to put up with.

As others have said it is a ridiculous stat because:

QPR's last away win against Swansea was a 2-1 victory at The Vetch in January 1981. They have since lost one and drawn one of their two visits to the Liberty Stadium.

So in the last 3 visits, we have won one, drawn one, and lost one, am I reading that right?
Puts a different slant on the dramatic title of 'not winning for 29 years'

What about the 4-0 loss there in the cup?

That's what it says on the BBC Preview of the match.
